Fire to the Stars is an Indies Introduce pick!

I received a call from a bookseller two weeks ago that had me in such disbelief that I emailed my editor to ask if it was real. I’m honored to announce that Fire to the Stars was chosen as an Indies Introduce pick for Summer/Fall 2026.

Twice per year, the American Booksellers Association establishes a panel of booksellers across the US who read numerous advance copies of promising debut novels. They then select ten adult titles and ten kids titles for this honor. Fire to the Stars is one of the ten kids titles. I made a vulnerable and controversial choice in the midpoint of my book, so to see Claire and Abel’s story resonate on this level is so, so gratifying.
